Progettica is a consulting firm for businesses operating in the Out of Home channel. Our clients are the large branded industry, distributors, organized food service operators, and investment funds. We have specific skills, knowledge, data and methods for a market as complicated as Away From Home is; we also support medium-sized companies on more general issues. We assist realities aimed at the Italy market and -thanks to a network of local correspondents- also at numerous European and non-European countries, thanks to our ability to interpret the peculiar phenomena of the horeca.

We are a team of about 20 senior professional profiles, including consultants and researchers, from the corporate world. We bring a wide range of experience gained in FMCG both in Italy and abroad, from the industry and distribution side.

Established in 2004, we are now organized into two business units: industry and distribution. Over the years we have built the two main databases in Beverage and Food, with exclusive quali-quantitative dimensions; we are able to provide market numbers with unique speed and depth, and to help our clients read and use them with maximum actionability. We have also built Ristochain, the most comprehensive and in-depth database in the organized foodservice world, and we help our clients adequately address the challenges of the modern horeca

Alessio Bonacina

Partner and Boardmember - Logistic Competence Center

Alessio started his activity in 1996 in the Customer Service & Purchasing department of a primary multi-channel beverage distributor. In 1999 he became Logistics Manager of a BU of the Heineken-Partesa Group.

He developed analysis and mapping models of optimized logistics processes for wholesalers. In 2004 he was Co-founder & Partner of Progettica, responsible for the Logistics Competence Center

Maurizio Odelli

Partner and Boardmember - Commercial Competence Center

His career began in 1988 in the Horeca channel of Nestlé-San Pellegrino, managing purchasing groups, mapping and analyzing commercial processes, defining product productivity indices, and then moving on into National Key Account roles.

In 2001 he became Commercial Manager of a BU Partesa – Heineken Group, and reorganised its commercial policy, through a particular approach to the market for sub-channels.

In 2003-2004 he joined one of the biggest food distribution companies and then co-founded Progettica, becoming the leader for the Commercial Competence Center, with particular reference to activities such as sales network diagnostics, commercial audit and product/channel/margin matrix models.

Damiano Possenti

Partner and Boardmember - responsabile Business Unit industria

Damiano graduated in Economics from the Catholic University of Milan and holds a Master degree from Columbia University in New York. He has worked in the UK, Germany and the USA. In 1995 he joined Partesa (Heineken Group) specializing in Trade Marketing for distributors. In 2000 Damiano moved to marketing roles in Heineken in Italy and then in the US.

After a stint in export Damiano joined Lavazza as a Business Developer and delivering numerous M&A deals. He was responsible for the capsule business in North America and Europe. In 2015 Damiano joined the innovation team, working on the creation of new products and services.

He has been a partner of Progettica since 2018 and is responsible for the Industry BU.

Alberto Scola

Partner e CEO

In 1982 he started as a wholesale entrepreneur in the Ho.Re.Ca. and retail distribution, bringing his company to €15m in turnover in a few years.

Alberto became active with leading roles in the steering committees of beverage distributors consortia. In 1999 he became CEO of a major Partesa’s BU (Gr. Heineken).

He successfully ran the turnaround of one of the biggest food distributors in Italy. In 2004 he founded Progettica.

Angelo Grisolia

Partner and Board Member, Head of the "Sales and Commercial Organization" Area

A manager with experiences developed both in distribution and industry. He holds a degree in Business Economics from Bocconi University and has contributed to the development of leading companies in the Food (both dry and fresh) and Beverage sectors, across all sales processes and channels (Wholesaler, Direct, Modern Trade).
In 2022, he joined Progettica after having led over 1,500 salespeople and agents over the previous 20 years, managing sales networks for Partesa (Heineken Group), Metro C&C, and Rovagnati.
Angelo is fond of strategic developments of sales organizations, overseeing the entire process, from organizational assessments to designing the future organization, operational transition, skills development, and the personal growth of junior managers.
With a keen eye on cross-functional processes, he promotes the integration of skills, mentoring processes, and generational changes within organizations.
Angelo is also a lecturer on commercial planning topics, a Higher Technological Institute.
Angelo has been working in Progettica since 2022.

Mara Osio

Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, USA.
She began his logistics career in 2005 as a Logistics Operator and Customer Service at an international freight forwarder specialized in oilfield equipment. After a few years, MAra became the Shipping Manager and then took on the role of Project Cargo Logistics Coordinator, managing the design, planning, execution, and control of shipping activities, both in the warehouse and overseeing operations at seaports and airports.
In 2018, she joined Progettica as a Logistics Consultant for the Operations area. Her main activities include conducting logistics check-ups of the organization and operational flows of distribution companies, layout design, and computerization; assisting and supporting warehouse and delivery staff. She is also responsible for creating dashboards to analyze economic, efficiency, and productivity logistics indicators.
Mara has been a partner of Progettica since 2024.

Davide Entradi

He began his career in 2003 at UPS Italy, where he developed expertise in various business areas, progressively taking on both operational and managerial roles.

After becoming Coordinator and then Team Leader of the Export department at one of the main Milan airports, in 2010 he took the position of Business Analyst, collaborating with various Italian and international teams to improve workflows and develop customs clearance software and assisting the operational team through the transition.

The following year, he joined the company’s Management team. He moved to the Venice unit where he managed operations and an extended team, setting and monitoring objectives; he gained expertise on corporate business planning and in 2013, he returned to Bergamo as Supervisor of Italy’s main Brokerage site.

In 2018, he transitioned to a new industry, winning executive experience with the ITALSTAND group, a company in the trade exhibition sector and developing competences in the Management and Control practice.

He joined PROGETTICA’s logistics division in 2021 and became a partner in 2024.
